2005-2006

Saint Raphael Named 21st Century School of Distinction

This award was given out by Intel and Schoolastic. Out of 3,300 applicants and only 20 possible winners Saint Raphel School received one. There were 20 different categories and Saint Raphel was chosen under the category of Professional Development. With this honor Saint Rapheal received a $10,000 grant.

Paul DeZarn, Ed.D National Distinguished Principal

Dr. Paul DeZarn was named a 2006 Distinguished Principal by the United States Department of Education and the National Association of Elementary School Principals. He was recognized as one of 50 outstanding Principals in the nation.

2002-2003

Saint Raphael Named Blue Ribbon School

A National award given out by the U.S. Department of Education. This awards recognizes the schools that produce good results regardless of where the students are from or what their background might be. In this year Saint Raphael along 214 other schools received it. This was the second time that Saint Raphael School received this honor.
